Mission Statement

I believe we are worthy and deserving of having life, and life in all its fullness.

It has taken us 13.8 billions years to arrive at this moment, on a 4 billion year old rock, travelling at a thousand miles an hour through an expanding universe. Life is nothing short of miraculous, but we lose sight of our place in its incredible unfolding, and our part as co-creative partners in the process.

We are living through a tipping point.

The cumulative damage caused by human exploitation of the more than human world; collective experience of injustice, coercion and violence; literal sickness; despite having access to connect with others globally and in an instant, and access to more information than any other time in history, many of us feel lonelier, more disconnected from ourselves, others, and nature. We are less sure of our purpose, and ability to change our individual lives, let alone face the overwhelming socio-political-ecological challenges of our age.

We yearn for hope, health, peace of mind, clarity, reciprocal relationships, honest communication.

We want health, happiness, and prosperity for ourselves and others.

We want a healthy planet and a stable climate.

We want an inclusive, life affirming, inspirational political discourse.

We are gaining momentum enough to approach a critical mass. Evolution is inevitable. And thankfully, despite our ineptitudes and mismanagement, life is always moving toward equilibrium.

I believe everyone can access the inner and outer tools which empower which equip them to live free from pain, anxiety, isolation, hopelessness, or shame. I believe we all have access to ease and freedom of movement, resilience, connection, support, inspiration, and healthy pride. The body-mind-imagination is an inexhaustible source of wisdom and transformative power, to which we already and always have intuitive access.

Somatic practice teaches us to develop our internal awareness; draw on the wellspring of our embodied unconscious material as the stuff of transformative power; trust our intuition (that limbic brain that speaks in feeling and image); realise our responsiveness and adaptability (the ability to choose a new thought or path of action); and trust our body-mind-imagination as the authentic voice which guides us toward health and wellness.

The realisation of our inherent power and worthiness as subjective agents and change makers in our own lives, communities and the wider world is a cause celebre, something to be grasped joyfully, and actualised moment to moment.

We yearn for hope, health, peace of mind, clarity, reciprocal relationships, honest communication
